Codex 5.3 Spark is at Capacity :)

I know people ran out of usage, but it looks like, so many ran out of usage that the only one left is Codex Spark :) and even that is overused.

Tibo hinted all the weekend indirectly about a reset, and then looks like his boss did not allow it or something happened and he stopped.

It looks like a new banked r*** is coming

Codex code now is getting modified so you can buy a reset

Resets will cost

Everyone will be given a free reset for appropriation

Some sort of a referral program when someone buys some reset you get some reset or something

3 months later, you will be buying fixed weekly plans, pay per use, current plans will fade away

Many Vibe Coders will not make it to market.

At the moment everyone has discovered codex and everyone is making their new SAAS that will get them to retire early. But ....... Codex was there a year and a half ago, and any project that takes a few weeks to create it will take the competition a few weeks to make a better version of it.

So, …. A big disappointment is coming, just not sure when.

The hype will be over in weeks, then a new subscription plan is needed

I woke up, there was a reset, I started back the 5 stopped tasks, they produced over 7,000 lines of code over 2 hours and used 15% of the usage limit.

The app is well structured to independent parts, so should not use much usage, but there we are.

I can keep up with this for another 1 to 2 weeks, can create 2 more "Pro 200$" accounts, and then that is my financial limit.

It is morning, and I am sure if I plan today’s work well, to use minimum usage, the one-week 200$ plan will finish by the end of day.

When Codex 5.3 was here, I was able to start many agents and still have weekly usage by the end of the week, but of course, 5.3 is not at the level of 5.6, but still, it produces apps, one release is in production and gaining popularity, and the next release is stuck missing tokens

Many of the “9 million” subscribers will face the issue, and then?

Open AI has a new meaningful subscription with details of how to keep the usage enough for a week

Or large number of that 9 million will go to the next provider, Kimi is about to release Kimi 3, around the Shanghai conference July 17 to 20, everyone in China is preparing releases a new AI, the Chinese President will be giving a speech in the conference, so there will be competition.

Still, I need some subscription plan and tools for me to do my work in a meaningful way, provide or extinct

How many Billion tokens do you use per day?

When I use GPT 5.5 xHigh, I need 1 billion tokens per day, if it is a long day, and many agents, 2 billion tokens.

Sol 5.6 High, not xHight, not Ultra, 2 billion tokens if I spread the work over multiple 5-hour limits.

Reason: The goal mode is better at 5.6, and in most cases, it does the work.

Example: I had to do login infrastructure last month, took a week with GPT 5.3 and 5.5, did it, but it required a lot of prompts, and in one cases it did an “internal fallback”, GPT loves fallbacks, when it was not able to get the data but got another data, well, the “another data” belongs to “another user”

Then if you leave 5.3 alone you will notice it is sending sensitive info between the client and server and it should not be doing that, and so on, so, one week.

Now, Sol 5.6, another task, goal, and left it working, eat the entire 5 hour limit, but it solved stuff that I even did not think we should be paying attention too, it went to solve edge cases in goal mode.

That means, the half-baked stuff you can get with 5.5 in a week, can be done way better with 5.6 in a day, but … it will use the tokens for a week or half the week.

My estimates now, I need 5 billion to 10 billion tokens per day to produce very high-quality code that is well tested, the code, the playwright test cases simulating real user work, the internal verifiers, the database, the edge cases, and so on.

What are your token needs?

I need 5 Pro Account , 200$ each (

I am calculating that the only way to stay productive after the resets finish, is to get 5 pro accounts, that shit is producing code and working on goals, but it will drain usage quickly, and there is sooo much code waiting to be written :(

New subscription / pricing is needed

Before yesterday, you have to sit and babysit the model, even if you give it a goal, still, babysitting is needed.

Yesterday and after, way more independent, works for hours on goals.

Open AI proved that AI can now write apps not just code, the problem is, we need many subscriptions, or a new pricing model, or a new shit, not sure

Otherwise, there will be a new trend, you run the task for a day, and run out of tokens for the week.

I keep getting ads about Cursor Composer 2.5, someone tell the guy GPT 5.6 is in town

I am not sure what is the point of the entire cursor product after Codex 5.6, I personally stopped reading the code since Codex 5.3, it works, it writes code, 5.5 made a mess a few times, now I have the proper prompts to verify and avoid, otherwise, why do you need dev env anymore?

for me is now all npm, npm run dev, npm run deploy, npm ...

How may billion tokens is the largest plan weekly

The 200$ Codex is about 4 billion tokens a week, they reset the usage once a month, that will give heavy users a 2 or 3 billion tokens more, depends on when it happens.

These 4 billion are input, cached, and output.

What is the token equivalent in GLM plans?

What is the token price for the coding plan?

There are subscriptions, I want to know what their token calculations are? how are they compared to just pay for tokens?

Do you use subscriptions beside Local LLM?

For me I do, my graphics card is “old” GTX 1080, it is from 2016 or 2017, forgot when already, when they released it, the Nvidia Guy went on stage talking about the Pascal Architecture like they invented teleportation or something, and we all ran to give him our thousand dollars :)

So, I am still waiting for the "teleportation" feature to be enabled in the next driver :)

Today the error messages are sorry, blah blah pascal, balh blah unsupported, legacy, blah blah

Looks like 30b to 50b AI Models are evolving to become the sweet spot, the one “able to do work” models, and I will get a card that runs one the moment it is 1000$ ~ 2000$ and can do a few hundred tokens per second, which is maybe far away, or just a normal mobile phone in 2030 or 2035

So, meanwhile, I use subscriptions.

I am wondering if other Local LLM users are doing the same?

Codex is now becoming brainless

I am not sure if Open AI does this on purpose to delay some projects, or they are experimenting? or that guy working on context management is giving the LLM Alzheimer, but in general, I ask for something, I get something else the LLM wanted to do :)

We made an app together, yayyyyy, finally.

the app has a ui and functionality

Bro, my man, codex, xhigh, let's put some automated testing to that shit, lets write test cases to test these buttons, and this functionality to make sure it works, so, next time when we do a lot of changes, and they break something else, we get an idea

Codex, yeh, i will do ... and gets out of topic very fast, never lists the ui items we have to test, not even aware of that the screens have, nothing, just goes randomly here and there and patches stuff

So, if you treat it as software developer aware of what it is working on, no it is not, all what it wants is to patch something, that's it

I keep hearing the model is good, I don't have the hardware for it, and I will wait to the end of the year for the hardware to evolve.

But, I still need coding, people are saying qwen3.6 35b a3b is good, so the question is now how much will it cost me to host it somwhere until I get new hardware.
