Buyer agent for first home?

Hi all,

I am looking for recommendations..I am a bit nervous and overwhelmed with the process of buying and worried I will miss something when looking at the house in a short window. We are looking for our first home and I am considering if we might find a better/safer property for our first home if we go through this process.

We could save 15K required in 2 months, just trying to see if it is worth it.

Looking is SE suburbs, Melbourne

Panic of going back to 0

Hey guys

We saved certain amount of money and now we have to put it in super to use super voluntary contributions for the first home buyers in a few years time.

How do you find it mentally going from safety net to basically 0 and the start again.

I run this through financial planner and it feels like a right choice, just being human

Motivation while saving

Hi guys,

I am wondering something. How do you stay motivated for saving for deposit + stamp duty while market keeps moving?

We are saving around 3.5/4 K/ month and we ideally want to stay below 800K for the house. We saved so far 17K with another 10K being for emergencies.

But I worry that by the time we get to 90K we need to, that house will be much more than what it is now.

How do you keep yourself motivated as I feel like we just get ahead a bit and prices keep going up. I worry we have this goal of 90k, but by the time we get there we might need much more

Thank you
