Ringing in ears following weight loss on Mounjaro

I’ve loss 5 stone on Mounjaro over 8 months, and for the last 3 months I’ve had ringing in my ears. It’s not so bad that I can’t sleep, but it’s pretty unpleasant.

I’m off MJ now - titrated down for 2 months, and my last 0.5mg dose was a month ago - so I think that’s ruled out a direct effect from the drug itself.

I had a GPs appointment yesterday, and he said that my ear drums/ blood pressure were ok, and he didn’t know what was causing it and couldn't offer any treatment. He actually asked me what I’d discovered on Google, and I told him about the theory that reduction of the fat around the Eustachian tubes (inner ear) that can happen with significant weight loss, can cause this.

If anyone follows the 'fat old climber' on YouTube- I know he's had a similar thing, but with more of a muffled/ underwater sensation rather than ringing.

The Dr wouldn’t refer me to an ENT specialist, and I just wondered if anyone else had managed to see one, and if they had any more information? Has anyone had this ringing and it’s improved over time? Thank you
