What career decision looked crazy at the time but turned out to be the best one you ever made?

I've been realizing that the best career decisions usually don't look like good decisions in the moment.

Quitting without another job lined up.

Turning down more money.

Going back to school.

Leaving a career you spent years building.

From the outside, those decisions can look completely irrational.

Looking back, they're often the reason everything else happened.

What's one career decision people questioned that ended up being one of the best decisions you've made?

What made you do it? and whether you'd make the same choice again

Have you ever completely reinvented yourself professionally?

One thing I've noticed is that careers rarely move in a straight line anymore.

People leave industries.

Start businesses.

Go back to school.

Begin again in their 30s, 40s, or 50s.

Sometimes those changes become the most meaningful chapters of our careers.

If you've ever reinvented yourself professionally, I'd love to hear your story.

What happened?

What pushed you to make the change?

Looking back, would you do it again?
