So I don't really understand how to count in dancing i get really confused. I usually just memorized dance moves with words or melody is that good or do I need to use counting if so any advice on how to do it.
So I am in the this production of Blank Jr show I am paying to be in the show and we have finished Blocking and Choreography and I'm not in anything not a dance not a single scene. The director keeps picking the same people to be in the dances he seems to favor those people more than everyone else.
The show is double casted there 2 cast and my ensemble cast has 19 people in it while the other cast only has 10 ensemble in it and the director keeps putting more people the the 10 ensemble cast into my ensemble cast. When we all ready have to many people and alot of people aren't doing anything.
When I asked if I could have more stage time the director said thats its not fair to people who have more experience and that if I wanted to be in the show I needed to take dance classes. And the director is not here to teach us and he doesn't care.
Any advice on what I should do???
