I’ve had a ridiculous breakout of Blackbeard algae & it’s starting to affect my plants.
I’ve tried Siamese algae eaters, but I think my two catfish ate them within a couple days. A guy at my local told me to use flourish excel & that the ingredients in it would help break up the algae. I’ve been dosing for weeks and it’s either gotten worse or stayed the same.

Anyone have a good solution?
