What jobs even exist nowadays? I want to hear opinions from people working in different fields.
I live in Belarus. I have 4 years of experience working as a UX/UI designer and 1.5 years of experience as a media buyer. Right now I’m working on a small project for my friend for $2000/month. Tasks on his projects can end at any moment and we’ll part ways — we agreed on that in advance. It’s good money for me, but the project will end soon, and I really want to finally find at least some stability.
For the past six months, I’ve been living in constant stress and endless ожидание that I’ll finally find a job and start living normally. Without stable income, I can’t comfortably buy things for myself, enjoy отдых with friends, etc., because I constantly have this feeling that if I don’t manage to find a job soon, my savings won’t last much longer.
Right now I’m looking for a designer job, even though I don’t really enjoy it anymore. It’s just the skill I can currently sell and use to find work. I also don’t want to go back into media buying because there’s usually no stable salary there — everything depends on the profit you generate and pure luck.
I also thought about moving into UA (User Acquisition), because judging by the job listings, I think my skills would fit well there. But even with my background, nobody really wants to hire me for those roles either.
I’m 26, and honestly, I still don’t know what I actually want to do. Most IT jobs just seem completely uninteresting to me.
So that’s why I want to ask people from different fields: what other jobs are out there with roughly similar income, where a smart person can realistically enter the field without prior experience? Or at least start as a junior and grow to mid-level relatively quickly.
I’m curious what kinds of jobs exist besides the usual developer, DevOps, designer, analyst, and similar tech roles
