I need to vent after interviews but no results

Not gonna lie but I’m feeling defeated and my depression has been getting worse to the top . I don’t know why I keep trying

I have a BS degree in Biomed Engineering from a very well known school in CA . In addition, I’m a veteran and my job I’ve worked in healthcare setting . Due to having a degree in bme , command let me to have some hands-on experience with bmet team , and I’ve earned my Cabt certification from aami with basic IT certs for networking . I know I still have a lot to learn, and I’m completely willing to start from the bottom, including as an apprentice.

I got call from this company to apply for their bmet 1, then after initial interview , they passed me to apprentice position interview , then after having another interview for that position, I got rejected the next day. Even though I express myself to genuinely interested in position and willing to do whatever it takes . I feel defeated , I still can’t seem to land even an apprenticeship.
I still get moments where I feel hopeful, especially when I get an interview or someone gives me a chance to talk about my background. But after being unable to land a job for an extended period of time, the financial side of it is starting to hit me pretty hard. My stress has gotten me to the roof that I have to go check up for my mental health again .

I’m not looking for sympathy. I genuinely want to work.
My school was very supportive , I talked with professionals in the field and all told me HTM is very hurt with shortage of techs, but I still feel like it’s a high wall to climb over to many people . I just want to have a place to start .

I’m still trying to keep my head up and keep applying. I just feel pretty sad and disappointed right now but I stay hope because hope is the only thing I have .
Thank everyone for reading this post …

Looking for CBET study guide/advice as a candidate status

Hi everyone, I recently passed my CABT exam and I’m planning to take the CBET this November. I’m currently in candidate status since I’m not working in the BMET field yet, but I do have a 4-year Biomedical Engineering degree.
Right now, I have the Mometrix CBET study book and flashcards, and I’m planning to join the CBET study group in October. In the meantime, I want to do more immersive studying using different resources rather than relying on only one source.
I was looking through AAMI resources and found the CBET Smart Practice tool. However, when I tried to enroll, it redirected me to the CBET Study Course eLearning 2.0, which shows a course start date of 04/01/2025.
My questions are:

  1. Do I need to enroll in the CBET Study Course eLearning 2.0 first in order to access CBET Smart Practice?
  2. For those who have taken the AAMI CBET eLearning course, did you find it helpful and worth the cost?
  3. Are there any other study resources, practice exams, or study strategies you would recommend for someone preparing for the CBET without direct BMET work experience yet?
I appreciate any advice or recommendations. Thank you!
