We have a second grader and are interested in AYSO. However, our work schedules sometimes include weekends. What's the schedule like for practices and games at this age? Does it change depending on the coach that you are assigned? What has been your experience with the coaches and volunteers? We like a slow pace in general and are not competitive. I played soccer as a child in Ventura in the late 90's/2000's. Should I expect a similar experience for my child?

Oofos slides are great for so many of us. I personally can't stand the sticky synthetic rubber insoles that my warm feet stick to.

Anyone find a comfy alternative that's squishy and supportive but has a fabric or leather/suede insole?

I wanted to share that I am an autistic adult who has dealt with sesamoiditis and partial AVN, and this is my first disability with chronic pain. This has been really difficult. Just writing to say to others - I see you. The challenges are valid and heavy. Adjustment to disability takes a lot of time and accommodations. I hope you find some ways to feel calm, safe, and comfortable through this unpredictable and non-linear trajectory towards healing.

In my opinion, it is a bit hard to keep up with controlling it's spread, but I love it as a lawn alternative for a little small space I have in my backyard. Any alternatives? I'm close to the coast near Santa Barbara.
