Gallbladder issues with no stones? Liver issues related?
Okay so over the last couple of weeks I have been having these “gallbladder attacks” I get this sharp stabbing upper right abdominal pain that goes to right under my sternum and into my mid upper back. It is so painful I can not function during these attacks. It also hurts to breathe and I sweat like crazy. They last for an hour or two and then eventually go away. It seems to be happening more often and Saturday was the worst. I ended up going to the ED and got an ultrasound done. It showed no stones and gallbladder was normal, however my liver is enlarged? My labs all looked okay besides my liver labs being slightly elevated.
The ED doctor still thinks it’s my gallbladder and I should get it removed. I have a follow up appointment with my PCP to discuss. Anyone else have these similar symptoms? Liver related problems?
