Here's a new OC of mine, the first OC I have made for Gameoverse.

The idea is that she is Kit and Gobbles' daughter from the future, ala Chibiusa in Sailor Moon, but with a different backstory. This is a character I have had lying around since the "Go For It, Gobbles!" piece. I did take cues from another fan child I saw, namely the dinosaur tail, but I feel I changed enough to make her unique. And before you ask, yes, the hoodie is based on Gobbles' 2009 design.

The main story idea I had in mind is that in this alternate timeline, Kit and Gobbles are defeated by the Syntax very shortly after Gabi was born, meaning she never got to know her parents. Gabi is later taken in by Dusk as a junior Farcade agent, and has been trained since birth to fight against the Syntax and continue her parents' work. However, it doesn't pan out as she hoped, and she really just misses her family. So, she spends the next few years of her life perfecting time travel so she could finally meet her parents and stop the Syntax from taking them away from her. Now, she is 12 years old, her time machine is complete, and she is ready to save her parents!

She ends up going to the present day, where the Farcade is on a mission in another game world. Kit and Gobbles end up meeting her, and Gabi tells them about the dire state of the future. The initially don't believe her, with Kaboodle speculating that she could be a spy sent by the Syntax. She eventually does convince them though, and she even forms a close friendship with Flappers.

(Oh, and she's also a scene girl. Partially inspired by AshtonHaz' artwork of Scene Girl Kit.)

Here's a piece that I've been working on for days. And this time, I actually checked for mistakes before submitting.

When I submitted the original "Gobbles' Dilemma" piece, I received a comment from u/Takis_Biggest_Simp reading "Go for it, Gobbles!" in all caps. I told them that it reminded me of an idea I had before I initially drew the sketches, of doing a parody of Go For It, Nakamura! (which I have never read, and have only gotten exposure through parodies of the cover) Thankfully, their support encouraged me to follow through with the idea, and from that I wound up with possibly the most ambitious piece of fanart I have made in a while. The .xcf file is 67 layers in total.

Given it's a bit crunched together, I did have to leave out some details, but I got the overall idea across. Also, if there are come inconsistencies in Kit's design, I would blame that on the fact that I had to draw the same character four times over. I'm also thinking of writing a fanfic with this title. Tell me what you think!

Wedding bells are ringing...

My next piece of "true" Kibbles artwork is still in the works (I'm putting the finishing touches on it) but I wanted to share this edit I made of a screenshot of the pilot. In the scene after Gobbles finishes his speech to Kit, she takes his hand and stands back up. And, with my ship goggles on, I couldn't help but think about them during a marriage ceremony. Even to me this seemed like an odd thing to think about, mainly due to the fact that I always saw Gobbles' crush on Kit as one-sided... But I went for it anyway, because that's the kind of person I am.

In all due honesty, I would prefer if the show didn't heavily explore romance; It just doesn't seem like it would fit the predominantly action-oriented style the pilot teased. However, I am not against the idea of romance as a whole being explored. For example, I do like the idea of Gobbles having a crush on Kit. He seems to genuinely care about her, and just from watching the pilot, I did get some subtle hints of a crush. They're probably not going to get married, but I can see a potential subplot. (Also, if you couldn't tell, I had no idea what flair to use.)

I'm not the kind of person who generally posts fanart to Reddit (I generally save it for my Tumblr) but I felt compelled to publish this here as my first "real" post (The post I made earlier today was a gag more than anything). I've been fascinated by the prospect of Gobbles secretly having a crush on Kit. Though it's likely not to ever become canon, I do think it would make for a good AU or fanfic. I also feel like Flappers would be someone he could confide in, who repeatedly encourages him to tell Kit. As for Kaboodle, I imagine he would be the complete opposite - Being someone who discourages Gobbles from ever telling Kit how he feels.
