1a, Foundational Terms Amendment.

In TrugLand the period of time taken in office as President per term is approximately 2 weeks, 14 days, 336 hours, 20160 minutes, or 1209600 seconds. Each candidate may hold a maximum of six total terms, after six terms they may no longer be a candidate.

Two terms may be consecutive, but the next term may only occur after at least one different individual has held office in between.

A term ends when either its time duration expires, when they resign, (See the “Presidential Resignation Amendment” for more information,) or when the Presidential Authority Amendment constitutes the removal of a President, whichever occurs first.

Any candidate identity is persistent and tied to the original account used for candidacy, or any officially declared continuation of that identity under constitutional recognition.

If no eligible candidate is available at the end of a term, the office transfers temporarily to PhummyLW as Leader of TrugLand. This role does not affect term limits or election rules. Once enough candidates become available, a new election must be held immediately. The minimum amount of Candidates for an election is 2, if the minimum amount of Candidates in an election is 2 then they cannot be from the same party.

1b, Electoral Voting Amendment

Once a President’s term has ended, an official election must be held to determine the next President of TrugLand.

A minimum of 2 eligible candidates is required for an election to begin. If fewer than 2 eligible candidates are available, temporary authority transfers according to the Foundational Terms Amendment until enough candidates become available for a proper election.

All candidates must officially declare their candidacy before voting begins. Before the election post is created, each candidate must submit a statement consisting of no more than 5 sentences explaining: their goals, what they want for the community, and how they plan to accomplish those goals. Candidates may create separate posts containing additional information, promises, propaganda, or campaign material, however only the original 5 sentence statement shall appear in the official election post.

If 2 to 6 candidates are participating, a single election vote shall be held.

If more than 6 candidates are participating, multiple pre-election groups shall be created. Candidates shall be distributed as evenly as reasonably possible between the groups. Each preliminary group shall hold its own vote, and the top 2 candidates from each group shall advance to a final election vote.

The candidate who receives the highest number of votes in the final election vote shall become President of TrugLand.

All election votes must remain publicly accessible until the election process has concluded unless removal is required under Reddit Terms of Service or Necessary Rules.

1c. Tie Resolution Clause Amendment

If 2 or more candidates receive the same highest number of votes during an official election, the following procedures shall apply in order:

Voluntary Concession Procedure.
Any tied candidate may voluntarily concede the election and formally nominate another tied candidate as President. If all remaining tied candidates unanimously agree on a single candidate, that candidate shall immediately become President of TrugLand.

Repeat Election Procedure.

If no agreement is reached, the tied election may be repeated. A tied election may be repeated up to 3 total times while the same tie condition continues to exist.

Automod Divine Selection Procedure.

If, after 3 repeated elections, no President has been determined, the winner shall be selected through the official Automod Divine Selection Procedure. Under this procedure, each tied candidate shall be assigned a number beginning from 1 in ascending order.

A public post shall then be created containing the following statement:

“We ask kindly of you, make a decision. If the total number of comments on this post is even, then the new President shall be candidate number 1. If the total number of comments is odd, then the new President shall be candidate number 2.”

If additional tied candidates exist beyond candidate number 2, additional numerical assignment procedures may be created under constitutional authority.

Once the comment count condition has been fulfilled and officially recorded, the selected candidate shall immediately become President of TrugLand.

2, Rule Standardization Amendment

Rules must be clearly written and include sufficient detail to be enforceable. Rules should not contradict other rules unless they explicitly state which rule they override and the reason for the override.

The laws of TrugLand are divided into four categories: Constitutional Amendments, Necessary Rules, Presidential Rules, and Standard Rules.

Constitutional Amendments form the highest written authority of TrugLand and may only be altered through constitutional procedure.

Necessary Rules are permanent and cannot be changed, overridden, or removed under any circumstances. These include baseline protections such as: No NSFW Content, compliance with Reddit Terms of Service, and Respecting Parkzer.

Presidential Rules are issued by the President during their term and apply only for that term unless reaffirmed or extended under standard procedure.

Standard Rules govern general conduct and may be created, modified, or removed through normal constitutional processes. This includes rules adopted through official community polls or referendums sanctioned by the government of TrugLand and conducted according to constitutional procedure.

No rule may modify or alter the Constitution of TrugLand except under conditions of high necessity, defined as a situation where failure to amend would cause structural instability, genuine negative political discourse, or a violation of core Necessary Rules.

Any constitutional amendment must be approved by the sitting President of TrugLand and at least 12 verified members of TrugLand through an official vote. Both approvals are required for validity. If either party rejects the amendment, it does not pass.

3a, Presidential Authority Amendment

The President of TrugLand may not coerce, threaten, or bribe any individual to influence voting behavior, including votes for themselves or any other candidate.

If credible evidence of such conduct is presented, defined as publicly verifiable documentation sufficient to establish reasonable certainty, a Motion for Removal may be initiated.

A Removal Vote must be authorized by either PhummyLW or the sitting President not under accusation. If both are unable or unwilling to authorize, authorization defaults to a majority vote of TrugLand members.

If the Removal Vote passes according to standard election procedure, the President is immediately removed from office.

3b, Authoritative Listing Clause Amendment

In the event that multiple laws, rules, rulings, votes, or authorities of TrugLand conflict with one another, precedence shall be determined in the following order:

1, The Constitution of TrugLand

2, Necessary Rules

3, Official Removal or Election Results

4, Actions of PhummyLW acting under constitutional authority

5, The Haha Funny Amendment

6, Presidential Rules and Executive Actions

7, Standard Rules

8, Public opinion or unofficial community interpretation

No lower authority may override, contradict, or invalidate a higher authority unless explicitly permitted by constitutional amendment.

If two authorities of equal rank conflict directly, the interpretation that preserves constitutional continuity and public stability shall take precedence until formally resolved.

4, Humor Exception Amendment

(Also known as "The Haha Funny Amendment")

If an action, decision, loophole, or event technically violates a Standard Rule or Presidential Rule, but is determined to be exceptionally funny by clear community consensus, it may still be permitted.

However, no action protected under this Amendment may: violate the Constitution of TrugLand, contradict Necessary Rules,

interfere with official election or removal results, cause targeted harm, harassment, or malicious emotional distress toward another person or living entity, or threaten the stability of TrugLand itself.

Final authority over the use of this Amendment falls under the Authoritative Listing Clause Amendment.

5a, Judicial Proceedings Amendment

A Court may be initiated when any member of TrugLand brings a formal charge against another member for: 1, Violation of Necessary Rules, Presidential Rules, or Standard Rules, 2. Disputes regarding interpretation or application of the Constitution, 3. Allegations of misconduct requiring formal community judgment.

Court proceedings shall follow a structured three-phase process:

Phase 1: Case Filing and Statements

A public Court Case post must be created describing, the accused individual, the charges being made, and a summary of the alleged violation or dispute. Both the accuser and the accused are allowed to submit an opening statement. Each participant may choose to represent themselves, or appoint a voluntary representative (“lawyer”) from the community. Lawyers have no formal authority beyond speaking on behalf of the person they represent.

Phase 2: Argument Period

A fixed period of discussion shall follow in which both sides may present evidence, arguments, or clarification. During this phase, other members of TrugLand may ask questions or provide commentary relevant to the case.

No verdict may be issued during this phase.

Phase 3: Verdict Vote

After the argument period concludes, a formal vote shall be held with two options: Guilty, or Not Guilty

All eligible voting members of TrugLand may participate. A verdict of “Guilty” results in enforcement actions determined under the appropriate amendment(s) governing penalties and removal procedures. A verdict of “Not Guilty” results in dismissal of the charges.

5b, Interpretation Disputes Amendment

If a case involves ambiguity in constitutional meaning rather than simple rule-breaking, the court may issue an interpretive ruling, which shall be treated as authoritative unless overturned through constitutional amendment or higher authority as defined in the Authoritative Listing Clause.

6, Anti-Discrimination Amendment

By no means may any individual in TrugLand be discriminated against because of their race, gender, or sexual orientation. Any person who suppresses, targets, restricts, or punishes another individual’s posts, votes, or comments for these reasons shall receive a penalty of 1 week, 7 days, 168 hours, 10080 minutes, or 604800 seconds.

Harsher penalties may be enforced for repeated offenses or severe discriminatory actions under constitutional authority.
