As most of us know Melanie has just confirmed that ELYSIUM will be released in 2027. Melanie has also confirmed that she replaced 3 songs on the albums with other songs and is currently trying to make a new song to add to the album.

Back in like 2021-2022 Melanie has also made the same promise with PORTALS, that it’ll be released mid 2022 yet it had to be pushed back to early 2023. The reason? Most fans believe it was due to constant leaking of the album and I also believe this applies to ELYSIUM as well

If you just go online and search “Melanie Martinez ELYSIUM”, you will stumble on leak upon leak. Whether they are real or not is a whole different discussion but as with PORTALS, I believe ELYSIUM had to push back due to constant leaking of the songs. Since ELYSIUM was going to be released after HADES, this allowed Melanie and her team to observe what is leaking from her album and solve the issue as quick as possible by trying to change ELYSIUM

Also the seemingly free will of changing tracks on the albums leads me to believe that Melanie doesn’t even have material ready for the album. HADES was promoted with a stop motion track list reveal, personalized photoshoots and visualizers for ,possibly, each track. If Melanie can change tracks on the album as freely as shes doing right now, it most likely mean that ELYSIUM has no photoshoots, visualizers, or even any promotion for it ready, and if it does it’ll probably be scrapped due to Melanie having to change the album

What are your thoughts of the postponing of ELYSIUM? Do you think Melanie did it just because she had last minute doubts about the album or is It something else?

NOTE: I do not promote nor endorse the leaking of Melanie’s content and this post isn’t an encouragement to go seeking leaks. This post is meant to be an informative discussion of ELYSIUM and the mention of any track that isn’t confirmed/ speculated to be on ELYSIUM (Bug’s life, Limoncello, Kismet, Joan of Arc, and Elysium) will be removed
