Best laptops for college?

I’m looking for a new laptop that will get me through multiple years of college. Bachelors to doctorate. I’m used to windows but wouldn’t mind a Mac, however, I do want something with a decent graphics card so I can play a game or two in my downtime.

I’m a psych major, so lots of storage and a good, reliable keyboard is a must. My budget is ~$1000-~$1500

What technology should I have?

I’m starting my freshman year of college in the fall and can’t seem to decide on what laptop and other tech I should get. If it helps at all to make a workload and longevity guess, I’m majoring in psychology and plan to hopefully use the same computer during doctorate school.

I want a computer that will last a long time and has good storage. I’m not opposed to a Mac, but I’ve always used Windows and would rather not learn the ropes of a new system if I don’t have to. Bonus points if it has a decent graphics card so I can play a game or two in my downtime. I’d say my budget is around $1200-$1500 if it has a good graphics card, as I plan to use my graduation party money for it.

Additionally, is getting an iPad & apple pencil worth it? My sister who just finished her masters says no, but my friends who are in college say yes. I would use it mostly for note taking. I plan to record all my lectures if allowed so I can go back afterward and take down any notes I may have missed. I’m not a big note-typer as writing info helps me memorize it.

Let me know!! Thank you

Located on my inner left forearm

This was my first tattoo and I really hate it!! I love the tattoo itself, but the artist I went to completely screwed it up… It’s blown out in multiple spots, muddled, and just hard to read. Yes, I know fineline does heal differently, but I have multiple fineline tattoos that look better than this. It is only 5 months old.

Any coverup ideas? Nothing in color. All of my other tattoos are fineline, i love flower/vine & animal tats, and wouldn’t be opposed to something that goes all the way around my arm. Hopefully that gives any indication of my style.

I do plan to get this same tattoo somewhere else with my current artist who is amazing!! It’s a meaningful one, so I want to keep it, but cover up the OG one.
