Would you trust a surgeon thats 65 years old?

Ultrasound with contrast found “no evidence of hernia” but my surgeon physical exam said I have one

This is ridiculous. My ultrasound with contrast found no evidence for hernia, only to go to my surgeon after a physical exam of it stated I have one. The office said they reviewed the scans and still stated I have one. I have no pain regularly only the day after if I lift weights and on the toilet after working out. He scheduled surgery for the 22nd of October and I’m really nervous about it with all the bad stories I have read.. I don’t understand. All the help would be great.
