Possible Tear?

I think I may have a meniscus injury. It's been popping in and out for a couple of weeks. Last night it really stuck! Today I am stiff and sore. It will be a minute until I can see a doctor to have it assessed. In the meantime, I can't just sit on the couch. What precautions/restrictions do I need to take impose to protect my knee in the meantime?

Multivitamin for No Thyroid

I had my thyroid removed over a year ago, and have had a few struggles. I have spent the last year in a state of hypothyroidism, and in a panic over my weight gain. As a result, my diet has been insufficient. I am finally getting my thyroid meds properly regulated and am able to eat more normally. I would like to take a multivitamin/mineral supplement that helps optimize my medication and overall health. However, there seems to be no distinction between a poorly performing thyroid and no thyroid. For instance, iodine is NOT going to make my non-existent thyroid perform better, so my research has been confusing.

Can someone recommend a quality supplement that contains what I need? For instance, selenium is important for my body to convert my medication, but taking too much is bad too! What supplement would you take if you were me?

I had bicep tenodesis surgery five weeks ago, and started physical therapy at week four. I am experiencing some pretty intense back/shoulder pain on the surgery side only and an ache on the side of my arm. When I run my hand next to my scapula, I feel many knots/bumps. I'm tired of not doing what I usually do, so I have been venturing out doing things like weeding, washing windows, vacuuming with my good arm only. Am I doing too much? Are these aches and pains normal? Are there any fixes? My poor husband is tolerant of my whining, but it's getting old!
