I think Mahomes coming back to start the season is courting disaster. An ACL/LCL tear requires 9 months to a year to heal, or more. He'd be at around the 9-month mark to start the season in September. Justin Fields under Reid could be good enough to hold the fort until Mahomes is 100%

Will Andy Reid lean into the run to protect Mahomes? He needs to. Given how much KC has invested in Kenneth Walker III, it appears that's the plan, but KC fans won't be convinced until it's shown on the field. Do you think Reid will include the run more?
