[recommendations] I'm selling at my first art fairs this fall and could use some recommendations.

Hi all! I got accepted into some local juried art fairs this fall and am trying to figure out the best way to get my booth set up. I'm a landscape photographer and originally want to show a mix of sizes of my work, with a few really big pieces to "lure" people in. However, I'm starting to price out how much it would be to get all my pieces printed on metal and it's going to be too much. I'm looking at printing a mix of metal and framed paper, but what I was thinking was also reducing the amount of prints I'm showing and maybe have a digital display gallery for people to browse. Like on an ipad or my laptop. My husband is saying to get a small flatscreen tv and show it on there.

Has anyone done something like this before? I guess I'd be concerned about someone stealing my ipad or laptop while I'm talking to someone. Would appreciate any advice and input! Thanks in advance!

Editing out certain noises?

Hi all! When you're filming a walk and are in editing, do you guys cut out certain noises like generator hums or loud cars? I'm debating on keeping those in, in order to minimize the jump cuts and stay true to what was experienced during the walk. But I also think it could be jarring for folks listening. This mostly applies to city/urban walks, so it's not like I'm in a quiet forest and then there's a loud noise. But there are instances where it's quiet on the street and then I pass a house or a building and their generator is just really prominent on the audio as I pass it by, or a loud truck revs as it passes me... Just curious to what everyone else does.

Advice on spots to see on Hilo side of BI

Hi all! My husband and I will be traveling to the BI in a couple of weeks. We'll be staying on the Hilo side for 4 days (from July 1, leaving July 5 to go to the Kona side). I have some things planned and would love some feedback on if I'm missing any spots or are some places not worth it. I feel like I'm missing places to see on the coast north of Hilo. I do landscape photography, so if there are some lovely spots to see I'd really appreciate the input.

Here's what I have planned so far:
– Lilikukolani gardens
– Akaka falls
– Rainbow Falls
– Sunrise at Mauna Keana
– Volcano park
– Snorkeling Richardson Park & Carlsmith Park
– Botanical Gardens
– Papakōlea Green Sand Beach potentially

Is the sand at Papakōlea Green Sand beach really green and worth going?

We're heading to the BI in a couple of weeks and I'm planning out hikes for my husband and I to do. I was reading about the green sand beach and was intrigued because I've never seen green sand before, but looking at photos online I'm feeling like it's a little misleading lol. The photos I've seen where the sand does look super green are edited I'm sure, all the others make it look beige with a tint of green lol.

I just want to know if it's worth the hike or if we would be better suited to hike somewhere else on the island. I also read that there's some environmental damage happening to that area from tourists and the illegal driving to the beach, so I'm also hesitant to contribute to that as well. We'd be driving from Hilo. Thanks!

Manta Ray Snorkel from beach?

Hi all. I'm looking for reviews from people who have done the manta ray snorkeling with manta ray advocates, the one that leaves from the shore and you swim out. How is the overall experience? It sounds like a must do, but I'm hesitant on booking it just because it's the ocean at night. I know their website says there have never been any shark attacks, but I also know sharks are the most active at night lol. There was also mention of box jellyfish which also makes me nervous. Do you need to be a very strong swimmer? I am but my husband is just ok. How far out do you actually go? We would be looking to do it first week of July if that helps. Thanks in advance for any insights!
