Driving from PHL to NY
Hey Folks, I’ve been fortunate enough to receive a delta CJO recently and have been thinking about what my commute life is gonna look like. I currently drive from the Philly area to EWR. It’s not bad, been doing it for 2 years and it doesn’t really phase me much. For reference I drive an hour 40 to 2 hours with traffic. Sometimes more…..Well now with delta it’s gonna be primarily JFK, so what’s the drive like for those that might do it? On reserve I’ll stay with a friend up there/ crash pad if needed, but for a line, is it horrible? In my eyes a 3 hour drive is better than a flying commute. But just want to get some thoughts for those of you who maybe do that drive.
Also, for those at Delta, how often would you say there’s pairings from EWR/LGA and is that something that I should be considering when bidding for a plane, or is it not worth it due to it being infrequent?
I despise the idea of living in NJ/NY so avoiding that if able. Plus I like where I live
