If anyone has time, help me understand what these numbers mean. Also, 1 question about hemoglobin.
I know my recent ferritin number of 39 is bad, but I'm trying to make sense of the rest of the numbers.
In 2023, my ferritin was 9, up to 21 by Fall 2024 and eventually up to 42 by Fall 2025. I know these aren't good enough increases, this was all before I know the 'normal ranges' are not normal at all. Also, in Canada, they use units of g/L for hemoglobin, but I see people posting amounts of 11.5 (for example) So if my Hemoglobin was recently 126 g/L would I just move the decimal back by one to get a number of 12.6? I am following both the anemia and iron deficiency groups to learn enough to help myself get better.
