Buying personal groceries on company credit card
I'm aware that I might get some hate for this!
I have a LLC, a small catering company which I started a couple of years ago as a side hustle. We get some of our stock from supermarkets as they are the cheapest for some cheeses and plastic bags that we use (Tesco, lidl, aldi). Also when we run out of stock last minute I will run to whatever supermarket I am closest to and pick up what we need. So I have also been putting the majority of my family groceries on the company card. I don't claim VAT back on these groceries.
If I ever got audited, would I be in big trouble for this? I presume I'd have to pay a fine? Does anyone have any experience of this?
