Advice for fresh grad starting his first full-time job

Hi everyone, I will be starting my first full-time job soon. This is a lab-based job. I’m feeling excited and nervous at the same time. Excited because i have finally managed to find a job after being unemployed for so many months. Nervous because i feel a need to do well, and I am so afraid of messing up, and since the job market is so terrible right now, I can’t afford to mess up😭

I am a hard working individual and always willing to learn, but one problem that I have is that I am quite careless and can be kind of a slow learner at times.

Does anyone have any advice on how to be meticulous at work, or just any general tips for fresh grad starting their first full-time job. Thanks!

Will my work pass get approved?

I am a foreigner who has been living in singapore for 10 years, and recently graduated with a diploma in biomed sci from a local poly.

After months of job seeking, I managed to get a job offer in a related field. I am currently filling up a work pass form, which specifically states that it’s for S/E pass application, so i’m assuming that the company will be applying S pass for me.

The salary offered to me is 3.1k, which i am totally fine with, however, based on my understanding, S pass minimum salary requirement is 3.3k, so may i ask if the offered salary will affect the approval of my work pass? Thanks a lot!

Just to add on, I was provided with an S pass eligibility letter by my school, which states that the government will be exercising flexibility on my application. Not sure if this letter helps in this case.
