Hi redditors, I was just wondering what else I should buy to restore this Empisal knitting machine kh-90. Tbh i dont know much about them, but this is rlly old.

Im not for sure if it works, the carriage slides but it doesn't slide over the needles (I think it's bc the spongebar is flat)
but other than that I think it should work. the needles are kinda rusty but they're not bent.

Did hair developor work for your machines? will it work for the blue/green part by the pole? or should I just scrub it?

Should I just use alcohol on it? it smells old
Buy new needles or get rust off them how

Any other cleaning tips or new tips a noob should know or buy? Thanks
