2016 ram 1500 with 2022 Springdale 282BH

We recently purchased a 2022 Keystone Springdale 282BH. My tow vehicle is a 2016 Ram 1500 Sport. The dealership installed a Curt weight distribution hitch with sway control. My concern is the amount of squat in the rear end of my truck.

We are brand new to RVing and have a 2 year old so want our setup to be as safe as possible. I’ve attached before and after pictures. Do you guys feel this is a reasonable amount of squat for this truck? The installer explained that the Rams have coil springs instead of leaf springs which is why the truck is sitting so low in the rear end. He said airbags could be a good option to get it sitting more level, but wasn’t overly concerned with how it was currently.

We won’t be doing a lot of towing at night so the headlights pointing up is not a huge concern for us, however we do plan on taking it on lengthy road trips and so want to make this setup as safe as possible.

He explained that rotating the ball further back could help to level the truck more, but it would cause the weight to be “over-distributed”. I realize this trailer is about at capacity for my truck so maybe some sag like this is normal. It’s due to be replaced in a couple of years anyways, I’ll probably upgrade to a 3/4 ton at that point.

Just looking for your experience and insight to give a second sanity check that this looks “normal”

Thanks in advance.
