Baku losing the first STL on purpose.

did baku lose the first STL to prepare all his pieces?

  1. he needed kyara’s power so he lost so kyara would leave kakerou since no one would be worth kyara’s time anymore. with kyara out of kakerou baku could use his strength for himself.

  2. he also set up the seed of hal not killing him in STL by telling hal that you should take everything from someone except one’s life.

  3. He also set the seed of the labyrinth alibi gamble for the future like when he loses STL.

my only question is that even though baku knew hal was the prince of kakerou did he know that he would face hal in STL? he looked shocked so how did he set all this up if he didn’t even know he’d be playing hal? when exactly did hal become the leader?

Baku’s view on destiny.

Can I hear people’s thoughts on how baku perceives destiny. I understand that he doesn’t let it define him like souichi does but how far does baku believe in it. he definitely doesnt not believe in it since he followed through Prince Bee’s book. he also has a dialogue in chapter 2 saying if people don’t know about the world their destiny is to be eaten. any answers would be appreciated
