My setup
I have Dac tangent ll, vincent high end xlr cable and inter m r500 plus reference amplifier. Some audiophiles note it leans toward a utilitarian audio sound but I really like very clean audio sound. I have four speakers 150w each so 600w. The inter m r500 plus reference amplifier puts out 500w but it’s has a lot of raw power which is what I want. I have 12ins subwoofer 300w that starts playing down in the 25Hz but it’s huge and it’s moving the air around. You can feel the pressure on your chest and in the head.
I blew my old speakers so I bought these speakers/subwoofer but I learned the hard way a big oops moment but it was a huge upgrade from two studio monitors. The only downside side is that you hear everything in the audio sound. Some songs are just poorly mixed tracks and fail to deliver the immersive "musicality" or "flavor" that some purists seek for long, relaxed listening sessions. But some songs playing in 24bit and it’s sounds more muffled but I really like it more than 16bit it’s sounds okay. It’s not Warm Sound or Cold Sound it’s just utilitarian audio. Most songs are not meant to be played in utilitarian a
udio it’s most common in studio recordings. Listing to headphones sounds not good anymore. I have friends who have audio systems and I have let them listen to my audio system. They all say that they have never heard anything that plays so clean and has so much power in the speakers/subwoofer.
