Sorry if it sounds weird, my kid is only 4 and I'm overthinking about the teenage years.

I'm worried about bad influences. I was highly influenceable when was a teenager; I know it doesn't mean all teenagers are, but I'm worried she could do something wrong because of this influence.

I recently read a book about Saint Mônica and there was an author note/advice there not to let your kids with same age friends alone. Because they tend to talk about things that we don't want her to know.

I had a secular and regular private school childhood (I'm not from the US btw), and I learned about porn, sex, swearing etc at school and with friends.

I did a lot of things I'm not proud about, and I would love to prevent my daughter from these things.

I know I can't prevent everything, I know, please don't tell me that without context haha I Just kind of want to protect her while she might be so young, vulnerable and maybe influenceable.

So I mean not only be around her but really listen to what they talk to their friends.

Will she hate me for that?

Hello! My husband had a vasectomy and we both knew it's a mortal sin, but I truly regret it now. Not because I want to have more children - we have 1 kid and I suffered a lot with post partum depression, our marriage almost ended, but I'm healed and we're happy now 🙏🏻

However, we're both very sure that now we are not emotionally able to have another kid (our daughter is 4 years old).

We were at our lowest point when he had his vasectomy, so we were desperate to assure we wouldn't have another baby. Now I think we should've done NFP.

I have already confessed it to a priest but I'm so worried we're in sin. The reversion is too expensive. We do have money for it now, but it's most of our emergency savings.

The priest told me we should keep the reversion in mind, save for it and do it whenever possible, but not using our emergency savings.

I'm a stay at home mom, btw, so our savings are really important if my husband loses his job someday.

I appreciate any advice. Thank you!

Edit: as an act of repentance, we're having intimacy during my fertile days just like other days. Even though he had the vasectomy, it's not 100%, so we're trying to be open to have more kids if God desires so. I know it's not a reversal but I thought it could be something.

A gente tem mais energia no começo dos 20, mas de 25 pra frente eu só sinto preguiça de pensar nisso haha

Não temos experiência com gatos! minha mãe mora sozinha e pensa em adotar um, mas tem medo de ele ficar arranhando a gente ou minha filha (ela tem 4 anos).

Sei que minha avó tem uma gatinha linda mas não dá nem pra chegar perto que ela arranha 🥹
