FDL and MR after weight loss
I had a FDL and MR done June 1st. I'm 41, 5'11" and was 167 the morning of surgery. I had lost 141 lbs over the past 2.5 years. Today I was 166 and he removed 6.5 lbs of skin.
I went to Dr Brosious in Las Vegas. Absolutely love him and his staff.
I can't stop looking at the difference between this before and after. My expectations were exceeded in every way. And it's only been a few days so I'm still swollen a lot. I never thought I could look like this... I literally had this apron belly even before I had kids, since puberty. I was always so so self conscious of it and it limited what I could wear and I hated it so much. When I looked down I still looked so huge, so the weight loss didn't even seem real. That was still there and nothing else I could do would get rid of it. I'm so happy with these results so far and I hope healing continues to get better and better.
Sleep is rough and I'm super uncomfortable but it's worth it.
