FML it’s hard with cost of living in Perth

Greetings perthlings. How are you coping with increased prices? I drive about 500km a week (97k per day, that’s 485km and add more for weekend errands) in my Corolla hatchback (6.6L/100km). Fuel was $1.67/L in January and is $2.32/L now, so call it $2 on average. That's roughly $66 for 33liters of unleaded petrol a week, or about $2,570 (39weeks) so far this year.

Price for Milk, eggs, and bread are all going up.

Anyone found ways to cut costs?
are you able to saving up some cash?

It’s so depressing to see people going on vacations to foreign countries when I barely survive here. I’m so depressed in everything and have lost hope.

Edit: Thank you for all the love and advice I’m grateful for all of you being nice to me today ♥️

Some of the suggestions are legit good and I had no idea in many of them.
I’ll learn more about ETFs at first and gonna continue upskill and apply for high paying jobs.

Remember- if you’re also going through the struggles you’re not alone. I’ve expressed all my frustrations and you may not be able to even express what you’re going through atm or maybe suffering even worse than what I feel. Stay strong when the hard winds blow. All of this will pass through and good times will come
