Bit of a rant. But this single page encapsulates my latest and biggest gripe in Greg's writing in the comics.

The sheer lack of consequences.

EVERYTHING that the villians do in the comics the past few years has had zero story consequences. ALL the villians get away with everything. Demona and company constantly do the most depraved shit, yet never face any serious blowback or karma... and its starting to get really frustrating. You can't have a villian that just constantly irritates the protagonists without ever once getting an egg on the face. Otherwise the story gets stale and predictable.... which unfortunately, it already is.

It's the exact same formula every time. 1) Demona laughs maniacally as she comes up with a dastardly plan. 2) Demona executes the plan that hurts the Gargoyles. 3) the clan stop her plan of the week. 4) Angela becomes the focus, only to do her "Mother! Mother!" Again. 5) Demona escapes. Zero injuries or loses for Demona "cUz mUh iMmoRtaLiTy". 6) Demona mopes after the fact with "Woe is me!"

Rinse and repeat.

And now we see the exact same thing extending to anyone on her side with Coldstone. Brooklyn and Katana JUST LET HIM GO??? This is the dude who kidnapped their unborn child! They let him fly off after a few stern glares?? Those two should be seeing red and trying to tear him apart! Brooklyn should be pointing the barrel of his rifle to Coldstone's forehead with Coldfire desperately trying to pull him off! Not just standing there and watching him lazily fly off.

It's making the story very stagnat and frustrating. No one really permanently reacts or changes. None of the comic villians face danger or risk. Everything is very much "problem of the week".

When I see Demona or anyone aligned with her, I just get bored. Youre no longer on the edge of your seat because you know exactly what's going to happen: Demona's plans are gonna be foiled and she'll escape without any blowback. Then we reset to the status quo and repeat the exact same formula the next arc.

There needs to be STAKES. Demona, Coldstone, and others are immune to all reactions or consequences. The worst we ever see is Goliath putting Coldstone in the timeout chair. Seeing all the villians do horrible stuff yet never get what's coming to them is getting so annoying.

Brooklyn: The Guitar

Recognizable and comes with plenty of connotations. Usually the most wild and intense of any instrument there is out there. It's intense, takes the lead in every song there is, and is almost always the center of attention. But while seen by others as nothing but intense and aggresive - just as a guitar can be electric, it can also be acoustic. It can be played so softly and gently while in the hands of master. There's a whole different side of the guitar if you take the time to learn it. All the passion is still there, but it is done slowly, gently, and so lovingly.

Lexington: The Piano.

The easiest instrument to learn, yet infamous for being THE hardest one to master. Pianists must have hand independence, able to juggle incredibly complex and new stanzas in real time - requiring a keen and sharp mind. A pianist adapts to changes and new things better than any other musician, often known for improvising on the spot. Pianists work just as well solo as the do in background accompaniments. Practically every soloist wants a pianist backing them up. Very few can become a true master pianist - but those who can are invaluable as backup just as much as they are an incredible soloist.

Broadway: The Drums.

Often the most overlooked and underappreciated instrument in any band. While the singers, guitar and bassist are out in front. The drummer is always in the background and overshadowed by the others. However, the drums are the one thing holding the whole band together. They are unmoving, keeping the tempo, maintaining the beat no matter what mistakes the others make - when the others screw up or get lost, they look to the drummer as their rock to get them back in step.

It took me so long because when I first became addicted to thia game years ago, I didnt understand the MR system and just played as "Rhino, Boltor, Lex, and Dual Ichors" for years. Then it put the game down and finally started playing a few years ago.

How the heck do you display something THAT enormous and heavy?? I doubt its gonna fit on your corner table or desk. I'm trying to find maybe a TV stand or something, but right now a workbench is all I can think of to handle the sheer weight!

I'm moving from Japan to America and I'm terrified of my PG Unicorn getting ruined.

I'm going to obviously disassemble him into arms and a torso- but I have no idea how im supposed to saved his wayer-based decals. Im worried they'll rub off while they get shipped across the planet.

Do you guys know how to transfer a PG like him?

Should I spray him down with a coating or something?
