Sorry to be a little frank here but anyone else think the ASSP is stupid? I understand the importance of networking but paying 300$ annually to have 2 beers and go to a meeting or two doesn’t sit well with me.

Looking for a new gig but can’t bring myself to sign up for my local ASSP chapter. I’m almost thinking if I have to grovel at a chapter meeting for a job it isn’t worth it in the first place.
