Thought i’d share my recent experience with both CBP and CBSA. I travelled by car to the states on Friday as a Canadian. I am quite the anxious girl but the CBP lady was kind, asked 6 questions and I was gone in under a minute.

on my way home to canada i was bringing back a mix of duty free alcohol & cigs and then one pack of unstamped cigs. the CBSA officer didn’t give a shit about the quantities i was bringing back, etc. Just wanted to know what kind of alcohol (beer/wine/liquor), and how long i was gone for. this interaction was also 6 questions.

Overall just wanted to put it out there, this crossing was lovely. it really calmed me down after hearing about all the things that happen at the crossings.
