Switch ON/OFF our building’s logo

Okay… this one is a little crazy 😅

I decided to build a web app for Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses that lets me turn on our company logo on top of our building using our LoRaWAN relay, MClimate 16ASPM. 😄

✅ And yes—it worked.

↕️ I also used the glasses' sensors so the on/off UI only appears when you look up at the roof. It was surprisingly fun and easy to build.

Thanks, Meta. Now I can do this with my glasses too. 🚀👓

Champions League Final App

With the UEFA Champions League final coming this Saturday, I decided to build a web app for the Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses to explore what the stadium experience could look like with future AR glasses. ⚽️🥽

Imagine being able to:
• See the live winning probabilities of both teams in real time.
• Interactively explore the starting lineups before kickoff.
• Keep a live scoreboard in your field of view, similar to a TV broadcast.
• Get real-time goal animations and instant replay highlights seconds after a goal.
• View live match stats like player heatmaps, distance covered, shots, possession percentage, and much more.

I truly believe AR glasses will completely transform the football viewing experience in the future. And even though Meta Ray-Ban Display are technically HUD glasses rather than full AR glasses, they already allow us to imagine what these kinds of use cases could feel like.

Honestly, building and testing these concepts directly on the glasses makes the future feel much closer than expected. 👀

P.S. Sorry for recording a football match from my TV… I don’t have a ticket for the final to test it live in a stadium yet 😂

P.S. 2: Maybe I should evolve this concept to its full potential for the FIFA World Cup? 🌍⚽️
