With only 3 episodes left before the finale, I can already say that Taşacak Bu Deniz is one of the best Turkish series currently airing and definitely one of the strongest shows of the past year 🫠🫠🫠... Now, let’s get into my theories. I have many, and they keep evolving , they’ll probably become more definitive once I watch the season finale 😅😅 , but I do have one solid theory: ISO will become much more central in Season 2, and his storyline still has a lot to give, at least until the end of S2, because this character is deeply connected to Fatih Fortuna, who is expected to arrive in the next season... Fatih is definitely more dangerous and “evil” than Serif, and I’m extremely curious about him. But what intrigues me the most is everything connecting him to ISO and Oruc, because I’m sure Oruc’s storyline will revolve around fighting to become the “head” of the Fortuna family, especially since we know Serif will probably either end up in prison or escape with Fatih’s help... After discovering the truth about her origins, Eleni might leave at the end of the season and go study at Harvard , to get away from everything she discovered and find herself again (and maybe Esme would follow her too). But I think she would return in Season 2 after a few episodes, because of something related to Adil, and that’s where she would meet Oruc again: a different Oruc, probably recently released from prison... At first, their relationship would definitely feel cold and distant, but slowly they might grow close again... Esme, after so many years of suffering, is clearly dealing with the consequences of her trauma, especially through her hallucinations, and she might follow Eleni to seek treatment. But I also have the feeling that Eleni hasn’t fully noticed how serious Esme’s condition really is... As for Adil... after learning the truth about his daughter and everything surrounding it, he has become colder, angrier, and more determined to strike against the Fortuna family. In Season 2, I think Adil will find himself fighting on multiple fronts: the Fortunas, Timov (who apparently is joining the story in S2), and Fatih Fortuna himself... But for some reason, I can also see Adil and Oruc eventually joining forces to fight Fatih. Even so, Adil would probably still try to keep Oruc and Eleni apart, despite knowing how strong their bond truly is... I may not be completely objective when it comes to ISO because he’s my favorite character. He’s such a huge green flag, but I’m convinced he’s hiding something , something that made him become the person he is today. And in Season 2, I think he’ll become much more central and maybe lose part of that “green flag” image... And honestly, I don’t believe Adil and Fadime’s father was killed by a Fortuna. I either think he’s still alive, or that he was actually killed by a Koçarii 👀👀👀 because the “Fortuna did it” theory feels way too obvious...

After watching episode 27, I finally felt relieved, because the “sea has overflowed” at last: Adil knows, Eleni knows… everyone except Fadime, who is still unaware of the secret, even though she clearly suspects that Iso is hiding something from her. Adil’s trust in Iso will inevitably be betrayed, and Iso will suffer the consequences. Yes, he lied to protect his “family”, but he will lose Fadime, and their relationship — especially their trust — will shatter. Especially because Fadime herself also seems to be hiding something. When Eleni is finally found — and I don’t think it will happen immediately, but rather near the end of episode 29 — Adil will take revenge on the Fortunas. One of his lines already seems to foreshadow this “revenge”, and honestly, he would be justified, because the writers love making us suffer before giving us a family reunion. I already have a mental map of the story up until episode 30, but from episode 31 onward, I expect complete chaos… maybe even fire everywhere 👀. I think every Fortuna will pay the price for hiding the truth, including Iso and Oruç. As for Iso, I believe he will either sacrifice himself or put himself in danger to protect someone. That act could somehow “absolve” him from the sin of hiding the secret from the Koçarii family, who slowly accepted him as one of their own. However, I also believe that season 2 will not begin with “Iso”, but with Ismael Fortuna: a completely different man from the one we know now — colder, darker, and more ruthless, a side of him we have only briefly seen this season. Fadime will have worn the wedding dress for the man she loves, only to lose him almost immediately afterward. I do not think Iso will die — in fact, I’m convinced he will become even more important in season 2 — but I do believe they will be separated. Eleni may leave for Harvard and move away from Trabzon to rediscover herself. Either Adil or Esme could go with her, but I think Esme is more likely, especially after her line: “I will find my mother and we will leave Trabzon.” Still, I believe Eleni could return in season 2 for a specific reason. Oruç’s fate, however, is the one I find hardest to predict. What will be the price of his silence? As for Esme, it is now obvious that she is suffering from hallucinations, so I do not think Adil will truly be able to blame her. Her silence also comes from deep pain and complicated reasons. In the end, Fadime may gain a niece… but lose the man for whom she wore the wedding dress, returning to being simply Fadime Koçarii: the girl we met in the very first episodes. That is why I believe season 2 will begin with a time skip of several months, with the tension between the Fortuna and Koçarii families still at its peak. And then the arrival of Fatih Fortuna will change everything. Because Fatih will be even worse than Şerif and directly connected to both Iso and Oruç. While Oruç seems to hate him deeply, Iso appears emotionally torn apart: for him, Fatih was once a role model, almost someone he admired and worshipped. I am convinced that Iso’s trauma is connected to Fatih. He probably witnessed something that made him feel completely powerless. And after Oruç’s line on the boat — “You are the only innocent one” — I feel that he was not only referring to the current situation, but also to something much deeper connected to their past
