Finally Ready to Trek Alone, But My Budget Is Only ₹15,000

Hi everyone,

Trekking has been a dream of mine for years, and I've finally decided that I'm tired of waiting for the "perfect time" or for people to join me. I want to do it, even if I have to go alone.

My biggest challenge is budget. I only have around ₹15,000, and that amount has to cover everything travel, food, permits, basic gear, accommodation, and any other expenses. I don't already own trekking equipment, so I'd be starting from scratch.

For those who have experience trekking on a tight budget, is this realistic? Are there beginner-friendly treks in India that can be done safely within this budget? Any tips on saving money, renting gear instead of buying, or choosing destinations would be really appreciated.

I'd love to hear from anyone who started with limited money and no trekking partner. Thanks!
