.Welcome to frontend engineering.
So why I'm here is that, before three months, I started building an OS. The fun part is that I started it from my both mobiles: one is to run workers and one is to improve workflows. Till now I have made six repositories, and my tech stack goes around Python, SQLite, Linux, FastAPI, Vite, and some other related. If anyone is up or interested to help me or guide me, please DM.
And yes this OS workflow is similar to Palantir style Architecture.
So I use Linux as I'm developing an OS right now.
So how do you guys use Hermes for crazy hard work
There is no such thing that I cannot do that a normal person do. 🥀🥀
if you are interested - let me know.
Build a digital consciousness that transforms documents, memories, conversations, projects, and experiences into an evolving world model that can explain a person's knowledge, behavior, goals, and identity.
So for context of building an OS, and I thought it's a good idea to start it from phone because it's a goldmine for data. I started with Linux(Termux) which made me choose sqlite. It's slow sometimes but man or man it works like hell on mobile with rich data.
Before anyone grabs a pitchfork, I say this as someone who admires both authors.
Dostoevsky's work feels centered on guilt, morality, faith, free will, and the inner psychological struggles of individuals. Those themes are timeless, but they also seem rooted in a world where personal moral choices are the central problem.
Kafka, on the other hand, seems increasingly relevant in the age of algorithms, AI, corporate bureaucracy, surveillance, opaque institutions, endless paperwork, and systems that affect our lives without us fully understanding them. When I read The Trial or The Castle, they feel less like historical novels and more like descriptions of modern life.
Meanwhile, I wonder whether younger readers connect with Dostoevsky in the same way previous generations did. If you had to choose, which author do you think understands the 21st century better? Has Kafka overtaken Dostoevsky in relevance, or am I completely wrong?
