I am a a foundation year student, going on to aerospace next year. I am really struggling to find the motivation to study the abstract content of the FY. When it comes to applied maths and physics I really really enjoy learning.

For example, completely flunked math test on stuff like partial fractions so I am gonna have to resit bc I didn’t revise. But on my project I did a highly in-depth analysis on ramjets in which I taught myself path functions.

I know all the stuff they teach is relevant, but does anyone know the best way to make the abstract content feel more relevant?
