Hi all, I wanted some help in choosing one of the PhD admits I got for Fall.

Santa Clara University - PhD in Computer Science (Computer Networks Domain)

1. Tenure is for 4 years
2. Can pursue internships during summer
3. Stipend is $2000 / month , very low increment yearly.
4. I am funded for Winter break and summer break ( 40hrs weekly )

University of South Carolina - PhD in Informatics (Computer Networks Domain)

1. Tenure is for 4 to 5 years.
2. Not encouraged for internships during summer.
3. Stipend is $2200/ month, increases yearly.
4. Would also be given Teaching assistant job later - extra pay.
5. I am not funded for Winter break and partially funded for summer ( 20hrs weekly )

I am an international student and believe internships are equally important to get industry exposure and secure research jobs in companies after PhD. Would like to hear your opinions on the same..

I am confused what to choose finally.
