I stumbled across this fic after being disappointed with the finale. I just finished it, and highly recommend it to anyone else looking to read an alternative S3! The fic was just recently completed and I haven’t seen it recommended in any other threads, but it deserves more attention. The plot/writing is absolutely brilliant, it’s easily become one of my favorite fics of all time. I know the word count may be intimidating to some, but I promise it’s worth it. For anyone who enjoyed Factory Settings, you’ll love this fic too!
