After two years of neglect, my 5yo son and I finally got a handle on the Lego Winter Village. He has been getting into Lego a lot lately, so we spent time fixing up the town.

My son is working on one of these Lego Botanicals sets. He was struggling with some step. It looked like he was using the wrong piece, but I think perhaps the piece is defective? I don't think I have seen anything like this, though.
