I don't understand Mink and his success @ all
started listening around mid 2025
i understand his music genre, vision he tries to show and overall vibe his persona is going towards but dis mf is unbearable
first of all, this was said many times but nobody can really explain dis 2 me
why is fakemink so good to yall? what is so great in dis pitched up voice and beats that he got cosigned by so many artists and is so called legend. i completely understand music is subjective, but his lyrics are uncreative in my opinion, especially those more popular songs. his vision is fresh but it takes away from songs being good, especially on terrified that i decided to listen to after some mixed feelings and you can hear that he focuses too much on the story and his idea instead of the sound itself.
and im not trying to hate, i need genuine answers what makes you guys really love him and his music
the part dat people try to avoid talking about is fakemink as a person. i try to separate art from the artist, it is important these days especially, but mink is that type of person that pisses me off. you can't say slightest shit, cause he will go on a runt on twitter. he did fucked up the performance, no doubt about that, and explaining yourself saying "you dont understand my vision" and "everything i do is planned" is just stupid af because you cant take accountability for your mistakes lol
also, he's extremely disrespectful irl too. my friend was at his concert, mink was walking from stage and to fans, my boy tried to dab him up and he said "i love your music bro", which made mink smack his hand away
