[Bug] BattlEye (BEDaisy.sys) crashes my PC on every EFT loading screen – confirmed via crash dump analysis
Since today (Oct 11), my PC BSODs and reboots every time EFT is on the loading screen. 4 crashes in a row, never had this before.
I analyzed the minidumps with WinDbg and all 4 point to the same spot in BattlEye's kernel driver:
BugCheck: 0x50 PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
(0xffffffffffffffe8, 0x0, ..., 0x2)
MODULE_NAME: BEDaisy
SYMBOL_NAME: BEDaisy+18c03f9
FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: AV_BEDaisy!unknown_function
BEDaisy.sys build: Oct 4 2026 (6AC1AD22)
Stack (identical every time):
nt!KeBugCheckEx
nt!MiSystemFault
nt!MmAccessFault
nt!KiPageFault
nt!ObReferenceObjectByPointerWithTag+0x16
nt!ObOpenObjectByPointer+0x93
BEDaisy+0x18c03f9
So BEDaisy passes an invalid object pointer while opening a process handle, and the kernel goes down. No other third-party driver appears in the stack.
What I've tried (didn't help)
- Uninstalled NVIDIA FrameView, disabled Corsair iCUE and Oculus services
- Driver Verifier is off
- Memory Integrity (HVCI) is on (Windows default)
Specs
- CPU: Ryzen 9 9950X3D
- GPU: RTX 3060 Ti (driver 32.0.16.1692)
- OS: Windows 11 Home, build 26200
Is anyone else getting BSODs since the latest BattlEye update? I'm reporting it to BattlEye/BSG support too, but wanted to check if this is widespread.
