Tech Startup Interview Process

I had an interview last week Friday that went so amazingly well; I followed up with question of when do they usually let people know if they made it to the next round. Since it is a startup he admitted that things have been a little crazy and he was juggling alot but that he would reach out to me on the following Tuesday. Its now Thursday and I havent heard anything. I super nervous and I know with Tech interviews the gaps between rounds can be spaced out. At some point should I follow up or does that come across too desperate?

Lost Job and Rent Assistance Advice in Boston

Back in January I lost my job and have been have been on the hunt and in the interview process since. I work in tech so interviewing has been multiple rounds and extremely spaced out which is frustrating in this time. I had a well paying job and have relied on my severance to financially get me through in the mean time; however now that is ran out and I am still in the interviewing rounds. Ive now fallen behind on my rent this month and I dont know what to do; Ive never been in a financial position in my life and I am just trying to see what resources I have to pay my rent. I live right in the heart of Boston and rent is expensive so are there any resources that I can reach out to that can help me for a month or 2. Any advice is appreciated and welcomed. My landlord doesnt do eviction but if the rent is late there is an $750 late fee which would just be digging my self in a whole I cant get out of.
