Differing Tg levels in two months
Hello all, anyone experience a bump in their Tg levels in short amount of time? For reference I have been at undetectable Tg since my completion thyroidectomy in March 2024 for Hurthle Cell cancer. RAI done in August 2024 (even with stimulated TSH, levels were undetectable.) Due to my risk profile my TSH is kept below 0.1 on levo. I am a patient at Moffitt in Tampa and All of my labs have been done at Quest. In March of this year my Tg was again undetectable (this test ordered by primary doctor.) Fast forward to today for my follow-up visit at Moffitt and my Tg now measures 0.5. My ultrasound and CT were clear. No rise in TSH. Only new medication I have added is low dose blood pressure medicine. I did notice that Moffitt’s reference range is different. I know that it’s important to look at trends over time but that seems like quite a jump in two months time.
