Tingling fingers

I had gestational diabetes twice, in 2019 with my first pregnancy and 2025 with my last. I didn’t end up needing insulin but numbers were high. I was supposed to go get a glucose test at my ob after my last pregnancy and didn’t end up going because I never felt it get high and would check it at home. 10 months later, I’ve been getting a tingling feeling in my fingers, like when your hand falls asleep minus the pain if that makes sense. I just checked my blood sugar an hour after eating (nuggets and fries) and it’s 140. Is the tingling due to high blood sugar or possibly nerve damage from my previous diabetes? I know I’m at a high risk for type 2 so I’m always nervous about it.
