so i just finished reading this today and im genuinely confused as to why so many people like this book. the writing and dialogue was genuinely insufferable. it was so extremely corny at times and the only reason i finished was because it was so ridiculous it was entertaining. maybe im missing something and its supposed to be more satirical but it felt like it was trying to take itself seriously. anyway i just wanted to come on here and see if anyone else had similar sentiments.
