A2P 10DLC rejections are almost never technical. Here is what actually causes them.
After helping multiple businesses get their registrations approved, the same issues keep coming up:
- Vague use case descriptions
Writing "customer notifications" or "appointment reminders" without explaining the full context gets flagged immediately. Carriers want specificity.
- Opt in flow not documented properly
You need to show exactly how a contact consents to receive texts. A checkbox buried in a form is not enough on its own.
- Campaign content does not match registration
If your registration says appointment reminders but you are also sending promos, that mismatch triggers rejection.
- Brand registration errors
EIN mismatches, wrong business type selection, or unverified business details will stall everything before it even reaches campaign review.
Fix these four and your approval rate goes up significantly.
