Modern equivalent of Jaybird X3/X4

Hi all...

This category of earphone seems to have died, so I'm looking for advice. I currently use Sony WF-1000 XM5's as my daily "out and about" earbuds but I don't really like them. They don't fit well despite what tips I use, seem really buggy (randomly the left will drop into transparent mode, or they will turn off ANC, or one will show no battery).

Also, taking them off briefly to talk to somebody or listen to something is a pain, I have to put them somewhere. I put them in my pocket and suddenly they think that they are back in my ears and start playback.

I would really like to find a modern version of the Jaybird X3/X4, i.e. sports style with a cable / neckband / bit of twine between them so they can rest on my neck and I won't lose them on a run randomly.

I loved my X3's when I have them a good 10 years ago, but there seems to be no modern equivalent with ANC etc? I'd want in-ears, sound quality is on my list of preferences but isn't top - I have some Meze 99 Classics for actual listening duties at home.

Anybody have some advice/suggestions? I'm open to no-name brands if somebody can confirm they're decent.

Edit: No specific budget, but ideally if they're expensive they should we worth the money.
