Arushi Talwar Murder Solved *My View*

My theory on the Aarushi Talwar case — and I think it explains almost everything

So I have been going through this case for a while and I want to share a theory that I think connects almost every piece of evidence that was never properly explained. Let me just walk through it step by step.

Hemraj had gone to a social worker just four days before his death saying his life is in danger and they will kill him and his family. His widow also confirmed this... he had called her weeks earlier saying the same thing. So what if Hemraj had borrowed money from someone dangerous and that person had been blackmailing him for a long time. He had even stopped sending money home to his wife in Nepal for over a year.

Hemraj also made a PCO call at around 8 PM that evening from a booth near the flat... a 6 minute call. I think this was to set up a meeting with this person... telling him the family would be asleep after midnight and he could come then.

After the Talwar family went to sleep Hemraj let this person into the house. They went to Hemraj's room. Now Hemraj owed this man money so he wanted to keep him comfortable. He went into the Talwars' hidden mini-bar and pulled out their Ballantine's Scotch bottle to serve to him... to impress him or just soften the mood a little.

They had drinks together in Hemraj's room and talked. At some point the other person made a demand. He asked to have sex with Aarushi. Hemraj agreed. Hemraj then went up to the terrace and waited.

Now here is something important. Earlier that same night Nupur had gone to Aarushi's room to turn the Wi-Fi off and on and she noticed Aarushi was awake reading a Chetan Bhagat book. So when Aarushi heard a knock on her door again later that night she would have assumed it was her mom or father coming to check on her again just like before. She got up and opened the door herself.

The intruder grabbed her, covered her mouth, and hit her on the head. There was a struggle inside the room and he killed her. Forensics later confirmed the throat was cut post-mortem meaning the blunt force to the head was the actual cause of death. He also raped her which explains why her private parts were cleaned later and her undergarments were removed.

He then went up to the terrace to tell Hemraj. On the way up the staircase he put his bloody hand on the wall to steady himself... and that explains the bloody handprint found on the terrace wall that was never matched to a single person in the entire investigation.

He told Hemraj that Aarushi was dead. An argument broke out and he killed Hemraj on the terrace too. Same method... blunt force first, throat slit after.

Now he had 2 bodies... one in the bedroom and one on the terrace

He went back inside the house... grabbed the Ballantine's bottle and drank from it to calm himself down. His blood soaked hands transferred both Aarushi's and Hemraj's blood onto that bottle... which is exactly what forensic DNA tests later confirmed.

He went back to Aarushi's room and cleaned everything. Cleaned her body, cleaned her private parts because he had raped her, removed her undergarments, rearranged her belongings, and pulled the blanket over her neatly. He came out and closed her door which locked from outside.

He went to Hemraj's room, got a bedsheet, went back up to the terrace, placed Hemraj on the bedsheet and dragged him to the AC unit in the corner... leaving those 20 foot drag marks in dried blood that investigators later found. He hid the body under the cooler panel. He took the terrace key from Hemraj's pocket... he had probably seen where Hemraj kept it earlier that night when they may have gone up to the terrace together. He locked the terrace from outside.

He took both Aarushi's phone and Hemraj's phone with him. Aarushi's phone was already switched off. He walked out of the flat, locked the middle door from outside using the spare key from Hemraj's pocket, and forgot to lock the last outer door.

The next morning at 6 AM the Talwar landline called Hemraj's phone. The person still had it on him and did not realise it was still switched on. He answered it to understand who was calling and what the implication was. He listened for a few seconds, understood the risk, cut the call, and immediately removed the SIM card. He then disposed of both phones separately. Fourteen months later in September 2009 both phones were found in the neighbourhood with memories completely wiped and SIM cards removed.

Now look at what this explains...

- The unmatched bloody handprint on the terrace wall

- The three glasses and bottles in Hemraj's room

- The imprints of multiple people on Hemraj's mattress

- The 6 minute PCO call Hemraj made at 8 PM

- Both victims' blood found on the same whisky bottle

- The Ballantine's bottle taken from the Talwars' own mini-bar

- Throat cut post-mortem in both cases

- The cleaned and staged crime scene

- Footprints in Aarushi's room that did not match either parent

- Aarushi opening her own door without any struggle outside

- The middle door locked from outside

- The terrace locked from outside

- Hemraj's phone answered at 6 AM with the SIM immediately removed

- Both phones found 14 months later completely wiped

- And Hemraj's own words four days before his death... that his life was in danger and someone was going to kill him

The Talwars did not do this. An unknown man connected to Hemraj through debt and blackmail did. He came in through the front door. He left through the front door. And he has never been found.
