Mold exposure
Hello people of reddit, I am here to ask of some help. I recently have been discovering things in my apartment covered in mold, i’ve looked into it and found it is most likely caused from the humidity. I have been in touch with the owners of my building and they have brought a dehumidifier in. I am more worried about needing to switch units especially because the backpack with mold was underneath our bed, everyone I have talked to says we need to be moved and I have expressed that but they basically said here’s the dehumidifier we’ll see what happens. We had an issue with the AC a couple months ago to where it leaked twice and it was not a small leak. I wanted some advice on if it is bad enough to switch units considering it is mold and i have 2 cats as well or if the dehumidifier may actually help. Thank you! :)
